Adam Saltz, DMD, MPH, MS

Dr. Saltz is a 2017 graduate of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Dental Medicine. He completed his dental training, as part of their accelerated dual admission program, and received a concurrent Master of Public Health degree. He completed his postdoctoral training in periodontology in 2020 and received a Master of Science in Dental Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

His commitment to improving access to oral healthcare has shaped his academic and leadership pursuits. He served as a consultant to the American Dental Association (ADA) Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention. Under his direction, NSU's Give Kids A Smile Program won the 2014 ADA Foundation Community Leadership Award and launched the national campaign in 2016. Dr. Saltz also led the American Student Dental Association as national editor-in-chief from 2016-2017. He has lectured nationally on periodontal disease and implant surgery, authored several scientific publications, and was a finalist in the 2019 American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Balint Orban Memorial Program for his clinical research on immediate implant protocols in the esthetic zone. He is originally from Maine but excited to trade in his snow shovel for the Jacksonville beaches with his wife, Maria, and two dogs, Mocha and Coco.
